Groundworks reviews the site, soils and cultural conditions in advance so the field plan reflects the realities the palms will encounter after placement. Access, staging, grade, drainage, surrounding improvements and long-term maintenance requirements all influence how the operation should be executed.

Palm installation is a coordinated operation. Material, trucks, equipment, crews, access and site readiness have to arrive in the correct order—and the palm still has to be handled as a living specimen throughout the process.

MOVE
Control the logistics.
Groundworks coordinates the specimen movement from field or holding area through delivery and arrival onsite.

A field operation is only as strong as the people making decisions while the work is happening.
Groundworks' Field Director path is intentionally demanding. The company describes the role as requiring at least two years as a crew team member followed by three years of specialized apprentice training before the leadership milestone is reached.
That training matters when conditions change onsite, when access gets tight, or when a mature specimen has one opportunity to be handled and positioned correctly.
FROM SIMPLE ACCESS TO COMPLEX PLACEMENT

Groundworks handles straightforward residential placements as well as complex specimen-palm operations requiring specialized equipment, crane coordination and carefully managed access. The objective is the same in either case: get the palm into position safely, correctly and with the surrounding property respected.

Detailed maintenance direction can be provided to the owner, landscape contractor, property manager or other responsible party.
